Man wanted in Mississauga shooting investigation

Peel police have issued an arrest warrant for a suspect wanted in connection with a Mississauga shooting investigation.

The incident happened back on May 17 around 10:30 p.m. in the parking lot of an establishment in the area of Burnhamthorpe and Wolfdale Roads.

The suspect was allegedly involved in a physical altercation with the victim inside the establishment, which spilled out into the parking lot.

Once they were outside, the suspect allegedly pulled out a handgun and fired multiple gunshots at a man and woman. No one was injured in the incident.

Thutop Phuntsok, 26, of Toronto is now wanted for various firearm offences and is described as five foot 10 inches, short black hair and wearing braces.
