Man arrested in North York nightclub shooting that injured 4

Toronto police have made an arrest in connection with a shooting that injured four people inside a North York nightclub.

Emergency crews were called to the scene around 2 a.m. on Aug. 5 after reports of several shots being fired inside a nightclub at Finch Avenue West and Keele Street.

One person was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries, three others suffered serious injuries, but non-life-threatening injuries.

A search warrant was executed on Saturday in the area of Jane Street and Lawrence Avenue West. A firearm, ammunition and magazines were allegedly seized during thr execution of the search warrant.

Kenniel Lloyd McLennon, 30, of Toronto was arrested and is facing several weapons-related charges.

He appeared in court on Monday morning.

No further details about any outstanding suspects has been made available.
