Woodbridge man identified in fatal Highway 401 crash

Police have released the name of the man killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 401 Saturday afternoon.

The collision occurred around 4:30 p.m. in the westbound collector lanes of the highway at Keele Street.

Paolo Brizzi, 39, of Woodbridge was pronounced dead at the scene.

Fifty-five year old Rakunath Kanagaratnam of Toronto made a court appearance on Sunday and has been charged with impaired driving causing death and refusal to take a breathalyzer test.
