Man injured in Burlington motorcycle crash

One man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a crash between a motorcycle and a vehicle in Burlington.

Halton police were called to the scene on Monday evening just before 6:30 p.m. to Plains Road.

Police say it’s believed a Honda SUV, driven by a 46-year-old Burlington woman was attempting to turn left from Plains Road East onto Cedarwood Place in the eastbound lanes when she collided with a motorcycle traveling westbound along Plains Road.

The motorcyclist, a 60-year-old Burlington man, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries where he remains in critical condition.

Any witnesses are asked to contact police.
