Toronto police investigate 3 separate shooting calls; no injuries reported

Toronto police are investigating three separate shooting calls in the north part of the city.

Police said the first call came in at around 10:30 p.m. Sunday for a report of shots fired in the Victoria Park Avenue and Finch Avenue East area.

Investigators said they found bullet holes in the front door of a home in the area.

Police said security footage from the area showed a person fleeing the area on foot shortly after the incident.

The suspect is described by police as having a slim build and was wearing black clothing and a hoodie.

Police said the second call came in at around 11:50 p.m. for a report of gunfire in a parking lot in the Morningside Drive and Finch Avenue East area.

When officers arrived, they found an unoccupied parked vehicle with two bullet holes.

Police said there was a report of a black vehicle fleeing the scene.

The third call came in at around 5:30 a.m. Monday in the Grand Ravine Drive and Finch Avenue West area.

Investigators said there’s evidence that at least eight shots had been fired. A home also sustained some minor damage in the incident, police said.

Police said they continue to investigate are asking anyone with security or dash camera footage to contact them or leave a tip with Crime Stoppers.

There were no reports of injuries in any of the three shooting incidents.
