Toronto police are investigating a death at a Scarborough nursing home.

Officers were called to the Bendale Acres-Long Term Care home near Lawrence Avenue East and McCowan Road at around 10:40 a.m. Tuesday following an altercation between two residents.

The victim was taken to hospital and pronounced dead later Tuesday afternoon.

No arrests have been made at this time but homicide detectives are assisting with the investigation.
