Toronto police are investigating after a vehicle drove into the front of an East York home early Sunday morning.
Police said the call came in at around 4:16 a.m. for a report that a vehicle had hit a building on Chisholm Avenue.
Police allege the driver fled the scene on foot — but later located him at a local hospital being treated for minor injuries.
A woman was in the home at the time of the incident, but there were no reports of injuries, police said.
There is about $200,000 worth of damage to the home, investigators estimated.
Police say a structural engineer has examined the damage and the structural integrity of the home has been bolstered at the collision site to prepare for removing the vehicle.
The vehicle is registered to a 29-year-old man and police said they continue to review video evidence from the scene.
