Technician charged after alleged sex assault at Humber River Hospital

Update, Feb. 20, 2020: The charges in this case were withdrawn on October 29, 2019.

A Brampton man has been arrested after a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted at Humber River Hospital in Toronto.

A woman attended the hospital for a medical test on August 29. Police allege during the test, a male technician sexually assaulted her.

On Sept. 4, Dhavalkumar Desai, 43, was arrested and charged with a single count of sexual assault.

He is scheduled to appear in court on October 8.
