York regional police have released security video after two men were shot at a party in Vaughan early Sunday morning.
Police responded to a call for shots fired outside of a home on Petticoat Road near Major Mackenzie Drive West and McNaughton Road East just before 3 a.m.
Officers found more than 20 shell casings in the area, but they didn’t locate any suspects or victims.
Police were later notified that two men, aged 24 and 22, were at an area hospital suffering from non life-threatening gunshot wounds connected to the shooting.
Investigators say shots were fired in the front and backyard of the residence where a party was taking place. In a release police said the party took place at a short-term rental.
Police are looking for the public’s help identifying anyone involved in the gun violence.
“These shooting incidents are very concerning and unfortunately a GTA-wide problem,” Chief Eric Jolliffe said in a release. “Gun crime has no borders and we must all work together to combat it.”
The clips show shots being fired from a moving vehicle in front of the home. A separate clip shows two suspects armed with handguns approaching the rear of the home.
Two suspect vehicles, a white four-door sedan and black four-door sedan, are also captured on the video.
