A 23-year-old motorcyclist has been identified following a fatal four-vehicle crash on the QEW Thursday night.
Ontario Provincial Police say a motorcycle, a transport truck and two other vehicles were involved in the crash on the westbound QEW at Appleby Line in Burlington around 6 p.m.
The motorcyclist was rushed to hospital and later pronounced dead.
He has been identified as 23-year-old Philip Slonina of Mississauga.
Witnesses told police the motorcycle was lane splitting traffic prior to colliding with a pickup truck.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
Provincial police are continuing their investigation and asking anyone who may have witnesses the crash to give them a call.
