By News Staff

Toronto police say they are not looking for any suspects after a woman was strangled in midtown last month.

Officers were called to 141 Davisville Avenue just after 12:30 a.m. on Oct. 26 for unknown trouble.

A woman was located without vital signs and a man was found with obvious signs of trauma. Both were taken to hospital and pronounced dead.

The woman, considered the 59th homicide victim of the year, has been identified as Bethelhem Geleta, 22, of Toronto. An autopsy has revealed her cause of death was strangulation.

The man, who was found suffering from obvious trauma, has been identified as Aboma Daba, 30 of Toronto. His cause of death has not been released.

Police say the deaths are not being treated as suspicious and there are no outstanding suspects.

Police would not confirm to CityNews whether the incident is being considered a murder-suicide.
