Watermain break in front of St. Joseph’s hospital affects several TTC streetcar routes

A watermain break is causing headaches for morning commuters on some streetcar routes.
Gushing water in front of St. Joseph’s Hospital at 30 The Queensway prompted the TTC to halt all streetcar service between the Humber Loop and Roncesvalles Avenue.
Shuttle buses are running.

Several other service disruptions have been announced in connection to the break.
Complicating matters, the water reportedly can’t be turned off as it would cut off the supply to St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Crews are scene trying to find a solution, but there’s no telling when regular streetcar service will resume.
