By News Staff

A mother and child have been reunited after the toddler was found alone, wandering around the streets of Oshawa Wednesday morning.

Police said the two-year-old boy was spotted by a passing motorist around 4 a.m. in the Stevenson Road North and Bond Street West area. The motorist then contacted authorities.

The child was in only a diaper at the time.

Paramedics looked over the boy before police took him to the station.

Police are saying this was an “unfortunate incident” and that it was “no fault of the parent.”

No charges will be laid.
