Man hurt in downtown shooting

A man is in the hospital following a shooting in the Huron Street and Grange Avenue area Friday.

Toronto police are investigating after a man was found with gunshot wounds in a downtown Toronto neighbourhood Friday afternoon.

Police said they were called to the Huron Street and Grange Avenue area, near Dundas Street West and Spadina Avenue, at around 3:45 p.m. for a report of gunfire.

EMS said they transported a man in his 20s to the hospital with serious gunshot wounds.

Police said they located a shell casing at the scene.

Investigators continue to look into the incident and ask anyone with information to contact the police directly or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers.
