28 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ontario

Ontario is reporting 24 new cases of COVID-19 in the province.

The provincial government released new figures Saturday morning, with 22 reported initially and two more added after 5:30 p.m.

The City of Hamilton then confirmed 4 more cases overnight.

The cases appear to be concentrated across southern Ontario – including cases in Toronto, Halton, Durham and Hamilton.

Ontario is currently reporting 107 cases of COVID-19, with five classified as resolved.
