Ontario confirmed 33 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, a significant drop from the 115 cases reported on Monday.

“This includes routine data clean-up by Toronto Public Health, which removed 21 cases, such as duplicates, that had previously been included in daily case counts,” Minister of Health Christine Elliott explained in a tweet.

No new deaths were reported, leaving the death toll at 2,786.

The province now has 40,194 confirmed cases, with 90.7 per cent considered resolved.
