Photo evidence of sandslide shows the potential danger of Scarborough Bluffs

Yet another reason not to go anywhere near the edge, or the base, of the Scarborough Bluffs.

Photos posted online Thursday show a portion of the bluffs breaking away and crumbling to the water below.

First responders are called out to the area on a regular basis for reports of people getting stuck after venturing beyond the posted warning signs.

41 Division inspector Paul Macintyre says Thursday’s small sandslide was unexpected and he warns, it can always happen again.
