Ontario is facing a shortage of school bus drivers

Thousands of students across the province are getting ready to go back to school, but they may have some trouble getting there.
The Ontario School Bus Association says they are struggling to get drivers on the road this year, and may down as much as 10 to 15 percent because of the pandemic.
Nancy Daigneault is the executive director of the association and says her drivers “want to see one student per seat”
Many drivers, especially those who are older or at risk, are concerned about driving full buses.
Driver who do return to work will be wearing a mask and shield and students will be asked to sit in the same spot every day for contact tracing.
The association is asking parents to stay patient as they try to find more drivers.
