Ontario reports 1,940 new cases of COVID-19, 23 new deaths Monday

Ontario reported 1,940 new cases of COVID-19 Monday, an increase from the 1,677 reported on Sunday.
Most of the new cases were reported in Toronto (544), followed by Peel Region (390) and York Region (191).
Twenty-three more people lost their lives to the virus, the province said.
The government said 57,100 tests were completed yesterday.
The total pandemic case count now stands at 142,121 with 121,563 cases considered resolved.
Ontario is reporting 1,940 cases of #COVID19 and nearly 57,100 tests completed. Locally, there are 544 new cases in Toronto, 390 in Peel, 191 in York Region, 134 in Hamilton and 114 in Windsor-Essex County. There are 1,535 more resolved cases.
