Officer injured after 2 police cruisers collide in Scarborough

A Toronto police officer is in hospital after two police cars crashed on the way to a call Wednesday morning.
Police say the officers were responding to a break-and-enter call in the Birchmount Road and Danforth Avenue area around 5 a.m.
The officer suffered minor injuries.
No further injuries were reported.
Birchmount has been closed from Kingston Road to Danforth.
