Brampton church youth group leader charged with alleged sexual assaults

By The Canadian Press and News Staff

Police say a youth group leader from a Brampton church has been charged in connection with alleged sex offences involving three teenagers.

Officers say the incidents took place between 1998 to 2003 at a North Bramalae church. The victims did not suffer any physical injuries as a result.

On Thursday, 43-year-old Daryl Holliday of Mississauga was arrested and subsequently charged with three counts of sexual exploitation and three counts of sexual assault.

He’s set to appear in a Brampton court on March 29.

Investigators believe there may be additional victims and are encouraging them to come forward.
