Peel Regional Police say two suspects who were arrested after a taxi driver was stabbed during a robbery in Mississauga late Thursday night have been released without charges.

Police were called to Hurontario and Dundas streets just after 9 p.m. for reports of a stabbing.

The male victim was found with stab wounds and was taken to a trauma centre in non-life-threatening condition. Police say his condition remains unchanged.

On Friday morning, police said the two suspects taken into custody had been released and investigators are “still looking for suspect(s) involved.”
