Murder charge laid in death of missing man in East York

By News Staff

Toronto Police say the death of a man who went missing at the beginning of April has officially been ruled a homicide.

Paul Daly, 54, was reported missing earlier in the month and last seen on April 2  in the Woodbine Avenue and O’Connor Drive area.

On April 17, investigators said they had reason to believe Daly was deceased, and a suspect was arrested in connection to his death.

Daly’s body was discovered inside a vehicle found in an unknown area on April 21, police said.

An autopsy was performed the next day and as a result, homicide investigators took over the case.

On Monday, Police charged Courtney Michael Tenn, 40, of Toronto with second-degree murder.

He was previously charged with improper interference with a dead body in relation to this incident.
