While the province opens up vaccine eligibility for hot-spot postal codes, York Region says it still doesn’t have enough supply to support the age change.

Vaccination clinics at Canada’s Wonderland, Georgina Ice Palace, and Richmond Green will be closed on Monday due to lack of vaccine.

York Region, which uses its own booking system, says it will not be taking appointments for those between age 18 and 34 in high priority communities, or residents age 50 to 59.

However, they say these groups can make appointments using the provincial booking system.
