Mississauga man facing sex-related charges following investigation, Peel police say

Peel police say a man is facing several sex-related offences following an investigation in Mississauga.

Investigators allege the two separate incidents occurred in a parking lot near Mavis and Britannia Road, and involved two female victims.

“Both victims were able to flee the area without sustaining any physical injuries,” police said in a news release Friday.

A man was seen driving a black-coloured Dodge Ram pick-up truck or a grey-coloured Chevrolet Equinox SUV during the alleged incidents, police said.

Police said Derek Bowers, a 51-year-old man from Mississauga has been charged with Sexual Assault, two counts of Indecent Act and two counts of Criminal Harassment.

Bowers appeared in Brampton court on May 7th.
