NEW YORK (AP) _ Acacia Research Corp. (ACTG) on Monday reported a loss of $164.6 million in its first quarter.
On a per-share basis, the New York-based company said it had a loss of $2.81. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 19 cents per share.
The technology patent licensor posted revenue of $5.8 million in the period.
Acacia Research shares have increased 39% since the beginning of the year. The stock has more than doubled in the last 12 months.
