Man seriously injured in Etobicoke shooting

A man is being taken to hospital after being shot in Etobicoke.

Police were called to Islington Avenue and St. Georges Boulevard to the sound of gunshots just after 4 p.m. Tuesday.

The victim was found on the scene suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

There has been no suspect information released at this time.
