Toronto police are offering two rewards of up to $50,000 to help locate two men wanted in connection with separate homicides.

The first reward is associated with a shooting on April 3, 2021, that happened around 5:30 p.m. at a residence in the Eglinton Avenue West and Royal York Boulevard area in Etobicoke.

It’s alleged that two men were driving northbound on Scarlett Road when a vehicle approached, and the drivers started shooting.

One man, identified as 21-year-old Habil Hassan, died in hospital. A second man suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Toronto police were able to track down one individual connected with this shooting, who turned himself in on April 22, 2021.

A second man, 22-year-old Mohamed Hassan of Toronto, is being sought by police on Canada-wide warrants for first-degree murder and attempted murder. Police said it’s believed Hassan is in somewhere in the GTA.
