Man threatened with knife during robbery on GO train in Toronto: police

Toronto police are looking to identify a suspect who they say threatened a man with a knife during a robbery on a GO train heading to Union Station.

Police say the suspect boarded the train, cart 2705, at Eglinton Station on the Lakeshore East line just after 11:15 p.m. on Nov. 18.

According to investigators, the male suspect sat beside another man and demanded his cellphone, while pressing the blade of the knife against the victim.

Police released security images of the suspect on Thursday.

The suspect is described as five feet seven inches tall, 145 pounds, with a medium build and gold teeth on the upper left side of his mouth. He was wearing a black hoodie, black pants, brown boots with white fur on top and was carrying a camouflage backpack.
