Peel police probe fatal shooting, separate stabbing in Mississauga

Peel police are investigating two separate violent incidents in Mississauga on Wednesday night that have claimed a life and sent another victim to hospital.
Police were called to a parking lot at Royal Windsor Drive and Southdown Road at around 9:30 p.m. for reports of a shooting.
A male victim was found with injuries and was later pronounced dead at the scene.
In a separate incident, police say a male was rushed to hospital after he was stabbed just before 8 p.m. in the Elizabeth and Parks street area.
Two males are in custody in connection to that incident.
The victim, whose age was not released, was rushed to hospital with undisclosed injuries.
