Police release suspect photos after man assaulted, falls onto subway tracks at Bloor-Yonge

Toronto police have released images of a man wanted in connection with an assault at Bloor-Yonge subway station over the weekend.

Officers were called to the TTC terminal at 4:15 p.m. Sunday after receiving a report that a man was allegedly pushed onto the subway tracks.

In an update on Thursday, police said the suspect assaulted the victim who then fell down onto the subway tracks.

No injuries were reported and the man was able to get back up onto the platform.

Police have issued an arrest warrant for Terrance Hili, 42, of Toronto. He is wanted for Assault, two counts of Fail to Comply with Release Order, and Fail to Comply with Probation Order.

Police warn the suspect is considered violent and if located by the public should not be approached but call 911.

The incident occurred just over three weeks after Toronto police boosted their presence on city transit in the wake of recent violence.
