Woman wanted for 2 assaults on TTC passengers

Toronto police are searching for a 29-year-old woman wanted for a pair of assaults on the TTC over the last three months.
Police say Nimo Umar Gayad of Toronto allegedly assaulted another woman aboard a subway train in the area of Bloor Station just before 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 2, 2022.
Then on Mar. 26, 2023, just after 11:30 p.m., she allegedly assaulted a second woman aboard the 41 Keele bus in the area of Keele Street and Donald Avenue.
Gayad is facing nine charges including three counts of assault, assault with a weapon and aggravated assault.
Police say she should be considered armed and dangerous.
