A motorcyclist is in life-threatening condition following a crash in Mississauga.

Police say a motorcycle and an SUV collided in the intersection of Dundas Street East and Universal Drive just before 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

The motorcyclist was taken to a nearby hospital with critical injuries.

The driver of the SUV remained at the scene.
