Police arrest man accused of assaulting multiple females at Mississauga plaza

A man is facing charges after allegedly assaulting three people at a plaza in Mississauga on Tuesday.

Police say officers were called to Meadowvale Town Center around 4 p.m. after a woman reported being aggressively approached by a stranger.

It is alleged the suspect made unwanted sexual advances towards the woman before restaurant staff intervened. The suspect was issued a notice that banned him from attending Meadowvale Tale Center for one year.

Approximately two hours later, police say the suspect returned to the plaza and tried to steal a bottle of alcohol from a restaurant. He got into a confrontation with staff while being asked to leave and allegedly assaulted two female employees.

No physical injuries were reported in either incident.

Investigators have since linked Ojeikere to similar cases in British Columbia and other parts of Ontario.
