17-year-old among 4 charged after vehicle stop leads to gun, drug seizure: police
Peel Regional Police have charged four people, including a 17-year-old, after pulling over a suspicious vehicle in Mississauga and allegedly seizing a loaded gun and illegal drugs.
It happened on Thursday at around 9:00 p.m. in the area of Forestwood Drive and Erindale Station Road. That’s where investigators say the suspicious vehicle was located and pulled over.
In a release, Peel police said they launched a Cannabis Act investigation which led “to the discovery of a loaded illegal firearm, an imitation firearm as well as a quantity of drugs packaged for sale.”

Three Mississauga men, Tyrese Douglas-Hodgson, 25, Peter Jesiotr, 23, and Ethan Bell, 18, all face various drug and weapons charges.
A 17-year-old male, who can’t be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was also charged.
Two of the suspects were already under court orders for previous run-ins with the law – a fact that didn’t escape Deputy Chief Mark Andrews.
“Time and again, our officers encounter the same individuals who continue to pose significant risks to our community. In this case, one of the individuals was already prohibited from possessing firearms due to past criminal behaviour, another currently on release conditions from prior criminal activity; a blatant disregard for their conditions,” he said in a release.
