Man critically injured after being struck by vehicle in Scarborough

A man is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in Scarborough.
Toronto police were called to Kingston Road and Midland Avenue just before 10 p.m. on Monday for reports that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle.
The driver involved remained on the scene while the male pedestrian, believed to be in his 30s, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A police spokesperson said it appears the man was crossing at the intersection when he was struck.
Anyone with dashcam footage is being asked to come forward.
