2-alarm fire damages unit in High Park

Toronto firefighters were seen putting out a two-alarm fire a High Park apartment building early Monday morning.

No injuries have been reported after a two-alarm fire at an apartment building in High Park on Monday morning.

Toronto Fire Services say the blaze broke out just after 7:40 a.m. at 100 High Park Avenue on the sixth floor of the building.

Firefighters tell CityNews the fire likely started on the balcony and went inwards. (Kevin Misener/CITYNEWS)

Crews managed to extinguish the blaze, and one person was treated for smoke inhalation.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.
