An 81-year-old man has died following a single-vehicle crash in the northbound lanes of Highway 427 at Finch Avenue.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to the area of the highway in Etobicoke around 2:45 p.m. Thursday.

The man from Mississauga was pronounced dead at the scene while two others were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

All northbound lanes at Finch were closed until 10 p.m. for the investigation and cleanup. The southbound lanes remained fully open.
