This October’s municipal election will be a family affair for the Fords.
Rob Ford vacated his seat as the representative for Ward 2, Etobicoke North, to run for mayor and his brother Doug will declare Friday night that he’ll run for the position.
Doug Ford is Rob’s campaign manager and the president of the family’s business, Deco Labels, and has been described as a more subdued version of his outspoken younger brother.
Meanwhile, John Tory put an end to speculation that he’d run for mayor. On Thursday he announced he won’t be entering the race.
