Highway 427 ramp re-opens after sign falls onto road

The Highway 427 southbound ramp to the Queensway has re-opened after a sign fell onto the road on Friday afternoon.

No one was injured, OPP. Sgt. Dave Woodford told CityNews. The sign fell around 2:30 p.m.

According to witness Kristie Anderson, the driver of a dump truck dropped off a load, and then continued to travel with the box of the truck still up. The driver apparently drove into the road sign.

No charges have been laid.
