Mayor Ford to make cameo in Thomas the Tank Engine show
Mayor Rob Ford is planning a trip to the Island of Sodor, but he won’t be riding the gravy train.
Ford is slated to make a cameo appearance in a Thomas the Tank Engine show at the Sony Centre. The mayor will reportedly step on stage about 25 minutes into a matinee performance of “Thomas Saves The Day”.
Rail master Sir Topham Hat will welcome Ford to Sodor as preparations for the magic lantern festival get underway.

Ford’s two young kids, Douglas and Stephanie, are reportedly big Thomas fans.
“Thomas Saves The Day” opens at the Sony Centre Friday and closes Sunday.
