Trending: God, a.k.a Drake, is watching ‘The 6’
A mysterious billboard has popped up over the Gardiner Expressway in Toronto.
Located between Sherbourne Street and the Yonge-Bay exit, the billboard says “The 6,” then has a symbol of prayer hands, followed by the words “Is Watching.”
Drake himself posted it on his Instagram with the caption, “Be Home Soon.” It also appears on the @RapGlobe Twitter account.

A spokesperson for the advertising company told Torontoist “it’s obviously a promotional thing for Drake,” but didn’t elaborate. There is some speculation the sign is promoting his upcoming album, Views from the 6.
Drake is credited with calling Toronto “The 6,” which has caught on with players on the Raptors and the Blue Jays.
Let’s decipher this for you. “The 6” references Toronto’s area codes, 416 and 647. The hands are a symbol for God. It’s also symbol Drake has used in the past referring to his nickname “6 God,” which is also the name of one of his songs. The praying hands are also a popular emoji, sometimes used for prayer and sometimes used sarcastically.
This isn’t the first time the Toronto rapper took out a billboard in the downtown core. In 2013, he put one up to promote his album Take Care. That billboard featured an owl.
