Teen boy in hospital after Centennial Park stabbing

A teenage boy is recovering in hospital after he was stabbed in the hip at Centennial Park in Etobicoke.

Police were called to the park around 10:30 p.m. Sunday, following some sort of fight in the parking lot involving a group of boys.

Police said it is unclear if the boy, who is believed to be 16 years old, was involved in the fight.

The victim was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

So far, no suspect description has been released and no arrests have been made.
