George Brown College to require proof of COVID-19 vaccine or negative test to access campus
George Brown College in Toronto is joining a growing list of post-secondary schools to implement a mandatory COVID-19 vaccine policy.
In a release Monday, the school said effective September 7, 2021, it would require either proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 rapid test for students and employees to access campus this fall.
The school said the decision comes amid rising infection rates driven by the Delta variant.

“Employees and students must provide verification of full vaccination through a third-party provider or provide evidence of a negative COVID-19 rapid test administered within 48 hours of entry,” the release states, adding that “individuals will still have the option to provide evidence of a test or take a test on-site.”
