Men, 19 and 22, charged in daytime Scarborough shooting that injured bystander

Toronto police have charged a 19-year-old man and a 22-year-old man in connection to a weekend daytime shooting that saw an innocent bystander struck by gunfire.

Authorities were called to the courtyard area of a housing complex on Danzig Street near Morningside Avenue at 3 p.m. on Sunday for reports of a shooting.

It’s alleged that two men in the residential area got into an argument, which escalated, leading to one man retreating to his home to get a gun.
