Driver in critical condition after car strikes pole in Etobicoke
A man is in critical condition following a single-vehicle crash in Etobicoke on Sunday night.
Officers responded to a call in the area of Highway 27 and Nearctic Drive, south of Rexdale Boulevard, at approximately 9:15 pm for reports of a collision.
Emergency services arrived on scene to find a 41-year-old man with serious, possibly life-threatening injuries.

Police say a black 2008 Mercedes S45 left the road for unknown reasons and struck a pole.. Officers are still investigating but tell CityNews speed is believed to be factor.
The man remains in hospital in critical condition.
