Ajax elementary school given all-clear following threat investigation

Police have given the all-clear after an elementary school in Ajax was evacuated amid a threat investigation.

Durham Regional Police initiated a hold and secure at Bolton C. Falby Public School around 11 a.m. on Friday after receiving an email threat.

An hour later police announced that the school would be evacuated as they continued their investigation. Parents were advised to pick up their children at nearby Ajax High School.

Shortly after 2 p.m., police updated to say they cleared the school and “at this time, we have no information to substantiate the legitimacy of the threat.”
