Woman, 94, dies after being struck by pick-up truck in West Queen West

A 94-year-old woman has died after being struck by a pick-up truck in West Queen West.

Toronto EMS were called to King Street and Strachan Avenue just before 3:30 p.m. for reports a pedestrian had been struck.

The woman was taken to hospital in critical condition where she was pronounced dead.

Police say a 60-year-old man was driving the pick-up truck and remained on the scene.

Police say an investigation is ongoing and no charges have been laid at this time.
