Nicole Kidman And Keith Urban Prepare For Weekend Nuptials

Oscar-nominated actress Naomi Watts arrived in the Australian city Wednesday for her good friend Nicole Kidman’s marriage to country singer Keith Urban.

The stars are going to tie the knot this weekend, reportedly Sunday night, and details surrounding the event have been closely guarded.

Watts, who was born in Britain and raised Down Under, met Kidman when they were still up and comers. The King Kong star is expected to attend a bachelorette party at Kidman’s sister’s $3 million Sydney mansion.

The guest list for the Kidman/Urban wedding is an impressive inventory of Aussie stars including Watts, Russell Crowe, X-Men star Hugh Jackman and Rupert Murdoch.

Kidman’s two children are due to arrive in Sydney later this week. The star adopted Isabella, 13, and Connor, 11, while she was married to Tom Cruise.

The bride and groom to-be are apparently staying in separate quarters before the wedding – Kidman in the harbourside mansion she once shared with Cruise and Urban is reportedly staying at a downtown hotel.

Kidman’s relationship with the media froze over last year when she took two Sydney photographers to court for allegedly stalking her and planting a listening device outside her home. But on Tuesday – her 39th birthday – she posed for photographs outside her home and later sent bottles of water and a case of beer out to paparazzi parked outside with a note that read: “Enjoy! Nicole and Keith.”

This will be Kidman’s second trip down the aisle after she broke off her 10-year marriage to Cruise in 2001.
