Man, 22, killed in single-vehicle crash in Burlington

A 22-year-old man was killed in a crash in Burlington on Saturday morning.

Halton police said around 3:45 a.m., the man was driving a Volkswagen Golf north on Walkers Line, when he failed to make the curve at Britannia Road. The car flew off the embankment and crashed to the ground below.

Another driver noticed the car sometime later and called police.

Paramedics weren’t able to revive the victim, who had been ejected from the car. No one else was in the vehicle.

Police continue to investigate and are asking anyone with information to call them or Crime Stoppers.
